Your Pregnancy. Your Birth. Your Empowerment.
Doulala was built on the belief that women and families should feel empowered during their birth. Too often women feel as if things happened TO them during their labor instead of being a part of the process, not realizing they had choices and a say in what happened. Birth does not have to be a scary process, it should be an exciting life event that you walk away from proud and sure of the choices you made. I see that women need support, partners need support, families need support and its not easy to find. So here I am. As a doula I am there to help ease your mind, filter through your options and help you navigate all the ways your birth can take you. You’ve heard the saying “it takes a village”, well why not start building your village now. It takes a village to raise a baby but it also takes a village to bring one into the world, doctors, nurses, partners, families, doulas. Let me be a part of your village.
Doulala supports women in the surrounding Kansas City area as well as virtual support. Check out what service(s) might be best for you!
